What is Obesity?

Obesity is a disease prevalent all over the world. Defined as abnormal or excessive fat build-up, obesity can lead to several other diseases including coronary issues, diabetes, arthritis among many others. A person is defined as obese when their Body Mass Index is equivalent or over 30. A person’s body mass index is calculated by dividing their weight (in kilograms) by their height (in meters square).
