
Pear US has an immediate opportunity for a part-time Marketing Coordinator in our Naperville office. This position will support the Marketing Manager and the Great Lakes Region with a variety of business development and marketing responsibilities. This position will be approximately 20 hours per week with potential beyond that depending upon performance and current business needs.
The ideal candidate will have a marketing or related bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience, or 3-5 years of relevant A/E/C experience. Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (hands-on experience with InDesign is required, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro are preferred), possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills, be detail oriented, have knowledge of database concepts (such as Proliance and/or a CRM), excellent time management skills, a basic understanding of marketing principles, and A/E/C industry terminology and procedures. Possessing the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation (or the ambition to earn it) is highly preferred.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to coordinate regional marketing activities, which include: work with technical staff to develop marketing collateral and RFQ/RFP responses, including proposal team coordination, writing, editing, design and production; plan special events (groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings and more); manage public relations efforts with regional PR consultant and corporate marketing support; interface with corporate marketing team, as needed, including updating social media and regional website information; coordinate project photography; research target markets; and be actively involved in professional and community organizations, including the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
